Postpartum Support

The weeks and months following the maternity stay are often identified by young parents as an intense period, a true emotional and physical tsunami.

Short nights, interrupted by frequent awakenings and settling fatigue, baby's cries that question and make you doubt, the new life as parents is a real learning experience and, like any learning, it can come with challenges.

Feeling supported during this challenging period then becomes essential to experience the first moments at home with the baby with more lightness and confidence.

Main objectives of this consultation:

  • Take the time to listen: a safe place where one can freely and without judgment share their feelings, concerns, and ask all questions
  • Review the habits put in place and reassure or propose optimizations if needed (feeding rhythm, sleep, bedtime, etc.)
  • Go over daily care routines (bath, face care, diaper changes, etc.)
  • Provide concrete and practical advice to feel more confident (care, organization, physiology, etc.)
  • Understand baby's needs and respond to their cries
  • Anticipate the end of maternity/paternity leave and the planned childcare arrangement

Modalities:

  • Individual/couple consultation
  • Duration: 1.5 hours
  • Where? Via video call or in-person/at home (Paris region, additional fees)

The proposed optimizations do not replace medical recommendations provided by the attending physician, pediatrician, or any other healthcare professional involved in the child's follow-up. They come as a complement to these recommendations, respecting the advice already established, if applicable.
